Alyssa Brynsvold is our Grants & Writing Coordinator, and she hails from the borderland in El Paso, TX. She studied biology at Baylor University and went on to receive her Master of Theology with a concentration in Bible translation from Dallas Theological Seminary. The Lord has given her the gift of cross-cultural communication and a heart for people to know Jesus, which brought her here to Casa. She describes herself as an artistic scientist; she has learned seven languages! Her ultimate claim to fame is that she is related to Queen Elizabeth I. She saw the generosity of this vibrant community in full display at the birth of her first child, when many of the families provided gifts, including some of her daughter's favorite stuffed animals.
