Adult Education
English classes, computer, and financial literacy education for Adults
Educated adults leading empowered families.
Adults in immigrant communities in the U.S. pursue education to gain valuable knowledge and skills that provide more personal and professional opportunities. Empowered with education, these adults can effectively guide and support their families, fostering a cycle of growth and opportunity for future generations.

Our Programs
-
We offer our adult English classes in a multi-level instructional program designed to develop proficiency in the comprehension, listening, speaking, reading, and writing of the English language. Volunteers teach the classes and provide instruction in English. We utilize a high-quality curriculum from Cambridge Press for all five levels of classroom instruction throughout the academic year from September to May.
-
These classes teach typing and basic computer skills, familiarizing students with the use of email, web browsing, and basic word processing and spreadsheet usage. Computer literacy classes are taught by our own staff, but volunteer opportunities are available for classroom assistants who are familiar with the basics of computer usage.

When someone struggles to make ends meet, advice on retirement accounts and mortgages just isn’t relevant. There's a better way to help people steward their money well. Through Faith & Finances training, students gain the skills and confidence to steward their finances with biblically based wisdom.
