Damaris grew up in Laredo and Belton, TX and now resides in Dallas with her three children. With a heart for the marginalized and a BA in Sociology (UT Dallas), the Lord has led her to serve in various ways, from a drop-out prevention program to a church as a Local Missions Minister.

She says it’s a privilege to advocate for the most vulnerable people in our city. She calls Casa “safe” and believes that the people in Bachman Lake demonstrate the welcome to others that we should be showing to them. In her spare time, she naps or goes on adventures with her kids.
