Originally from Mexico City, Rafaela has called Dallas home for 26 years. When she heard about the different programs and resources that Casa del Lago offered, she wanted to join in the great work Casa was doing in her community. For Rafaela, Casa serves as a “refuge.” She admires her humble, compassionate, and determined neighbors in Bachman Lake. In her free time, Rafaela enjoys shopping, reading books, and hiking.
