Mercy Opens Doors. You Keep Them Open.
At Casa del Lago, something simple and extraordinary is happening.
Families are walking through our doors every week with courage, hope, and a willingness to work hard for a better future. Parents are learning English. Children are discovering that reading is joyful. Neighbors who once felt isolated are finding a community where they are known and welcomed.
Since we moved into our new facility in the Bachman Lake community, Casa can serve more families with greater consistency. More classes can run at the same time. More children have a safe, beautiful space to learn and play. And partners like the Dallas Public Library now have room to come alongside our families in practical ways.

Recently, library staff visited Casa, shared resources with adult students, and helped families sign up for library cards. Soon after, Casa’s preschoolers visited the library for crafts, a tour, and cards of their own.
But the facility is not the story. The people are.
A mother who signs up for language classes so she can support her children at school. A preschooler who comes home excited about books. A family that walks through Casa’s doors and finds not just a program, but a place where they belong.
This is what mercy looks like in practice. It opens doors for education, connection, dignity, and a future that feels possible.
Your gift this spring keeps those doors open.
It keeps classrooms active, teachers supported, and programs steady for the families who are showing up right now.
Families are showing up. You can show up for them.
